Recently the new „Via Natura“ hiking trail was opened that enables one to learn the art of reading nature.

On route is the first European Bio island,   where both young and old can experience the world of BIONIC. Every year students are given the opportunity to test their capability in technical and natural research.

The first internship from the nature park was invited to take part in the 2008 international BIONIC congress at Schönbrunn, Vienna to present the findings from the nature park. At the School of senses in Neumarkt one can see a BIONIC display and in the future the nature park is intending further initiatives to enhance the region.
