Theoretically "a protected area consisting of a unity between people and nature"
It is a small wonder that hundreds of animal and plant life, that occupy an area of 285 m2, can suprise even seasoned academics.
Who makes the nature park a nature park
A lot of farmers can play an important role in the influence of the land by producing there products in traditional ways.
In the nature park a cultural landscape has an aesthetic appeal and is made accessible by means of special facilities for rest and relaxation. The protection of the area is in direct relation to its use. The nature protection rules of Styria are rooted deeply here
The local authorities awarded this rural area the title of Nature park and have laid down certain challenges such as:
- Protection and advancement of the area
- Creating recreational opportunities
- Promotion of sustainable regional development through job creation
- Additional employment opportunities in tourism and agriculture
